Gather your Challenge troops and take a look at the projects available for you to pick from this year. Local charities in the Leeds area can't wait to invite you back for some DIY make-over magic, valuable virtual ventures, or some good old fashioned party planning!
Our five different project categories are displayed below. Each challenge will be marked with the icon most relevant to that particular project.
For each project we're providing up to £500 towards costs, so no fundraising required!

LEED6 Flower Power
The Challenge
At Ruddi's Retreat, where their caravans are housed, some help is needed to brighten up the place ready for the summer season. They would love a team to purchase weatherproof plant pots, faux outdoor plants and fairy lights to decorate the decking for their caravans. This will make the area much more inviting for the families who stay there.
Ruddi's Retreat
Ruddi's Retreat provides respite breaks for children living with cancer and life limiting illnesses. They also offer bereavement breaks for children who have lost a parent, or parents who have lost a child.

LEED7 Summer Sports
The Challenge
Dementia Forward are looking to hold a summer party for their users and families at their hub, just outside of Harrogate. They would like a team to arrange the music, games, help out with the stalls and arrange a BBQ. They would love this to link in with the Olympics and involve some sports day challenges
Dementia Forward
Dementia Forward is the leading dementia charity for North Yorkshire. They provide support, advice and a range of wellbeing services for nearly 9,000 people with dementia, as well as their carers. They aim to support through every stage of dementia and to provide social engagement opportunities, whenever possible.

LEED8 Riverside Food Festival
The Challenge
Leeds Mind have been invited to fundraise at the Riverside Food Festival in Wetherby on the 27 and 28 July. They would love a team to run a tombola at their stall, sell tickets and provide the prizes. They have split the days into the following shifts and are looking for two volunteers per shift:
Saturday 27th - 10am until 2pm
Saturday 27th - 2pm until 6pm
Sunday 28th - 10am until 2pm
Sunday 28th - 2pm until 6pm
Leeds Mind
Leeds Mind is an award-winning local charity that supports anyone affected by mental health difficulties in Leeds. Their vision is to provide better mental health for all, and their mission is to enable people with mental health difficulties to flourish.

LEED9 Joggers and Leggings
The Challenge
The Clothing Bank are looking for a team of volunteers to buy joggers and leggings for their teenage users. This will help them to fit in with their peers and improve their self confidence.
The Clothing Bank
The Clothing Bank collects new and preloved clothing. It makes packs of up to seven days worth of clothing to give to those who are struggling to clothe themselves after every day expenses.

LEED10 A Garden for the Senses
The Challenge
Leeds Women's Aid are looking for a team to help them build a sensory garden with aromatic plants, such as lavender, rosemary and mint. They would love the team to buy the plant pots, plants and items like wind chimes, to enhance the gardens. Due to the nature of their work, this Challenge is only open to women.

LEED11 Helping Hampers
The Challenge
Residents who arrive at Leeds Women's Aid have few, or no, personal belongings. They are looking for a team of people to put together 43 hampers of toiletries and home comforts. This can include a brand new toothbrush and toothpaste, cosy socks, shower gel and shampoo and new underwear.

LEED12 Summer Festival
The Challenge
Zest are looking to hold a Summer Festival for their service users at East Leeds Cricket Club. They are looking for a team to provide food, entertainment and support for the event. This will be a summer party to remember!

They aim to address health inequalities and social isolation through activities which improve physical, mental, social, emotional and economic wellbeing. The organisation has its roots in East Leeds, but they now work city wide.

LEED13 Fountains Abbey Fun Day
The Challenge
Zest would like to take their service users for an inspiring day out to Fountains Abbey. Your team would look to cover the cost of the entrance fee and try and get a discounted rate for 48 attendees.
